I keep directly in touch with customers (mainly companies) to offer translation and interpreting services in all languages. I also organize courses and seminars for professionals and students. Other activities: Tour leaders and guides for tourist agencies, tour operators, public and private bodies.

We offer translation and interpreting services in European and extra-European languages, such as English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Thai and Urdu), Scandinavian languages (Dutch, Flemish, Swedish, Danish, Finnish and Norwegian) and East-European languages (Polish, Serbian, Croatian, Czech, Slovak, Rumanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Turkish, Estonian, Latvia and Lithuanian).Main fields of specialization: Technical, commercial, economic-financial, legal, medical-pharmaceutical, marketing, IT, fashion and cosmetics.

I attended an English course of juridical-legal translations organized by AITI (a National Association for Translators and Interpreters) in Milan. During the course we dealt with the following subjects: Agreements, Purchase Orders: Terms and conditions, Articles of Association, Power of Attorney, Judgment of the Court of First Instances, Complaints, Certiorari and so on. At the beginning of January'06: Start of the collaboration with other agencies in Bergamo, Verona and Udine (north part of Italy) and in Bologna (central part of Italy) as a freelance translator. May 2006: I attended a course in the basic and advanced use of WORDFAST, organized by AITI in Milan.May 2008: Establishment of an agency specialized in translations and interpreting services 'LA TRADUZIONE di Maria Luisa Bertoli', situated in Via Bologna, 31 - 20831 Seregno, near Milan; VAT No. IT07025610960. To satisfy our customers' requests, we work only and exclusively with competent mother tongue translators and interpreters in Italy and abroad in many different language pairs, as well as we collaborate with professionals specialized in many different sectors, from the technical, IT-field to the medical, economic-financial and legal ones for the review and for the final examination of texts. All our translators and interpreters are registered with the technical consultant Rolls of the Courts of Justice and the Italian Chamber of Industry, Craft and Agriculture (C.C.I.A.A.). and with The National Association of Translators and Interpreters (ANITI and/or AITI).In particular we offer the following interpreting services for: negotiation;consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during conferences, exhibitions and business meetings.Furthermore we work together with an external firm for the creation and for the translation of web sites, as well as for company presentations on CD/DVD, for business brochures and for selling catalogues

I was employed as an executive secretary and I had direct contact with German colleagues at Diehl Controls in Nuernberg, i.e. the head office. I also worked as a technical and commercial translator and interpreter from English and German into Italian and vice versa.
