Results-oriented executive, with leadership focused on productivity and people, with optimal results from teamwork, transversal cooperation and breaking down silos.Passionate about promoting new projects, I was part of the initial team of GIF, a company created to build the Spanish high-speed network, the essence of the Spanish success story. In the private sector, I led the 90's digital transformation in my company. Expert in putting into operation new areas of activity, such as the Studies and Projects Directorate, which allowed the tendering of more than 4,000 million euros/year in high-speed works; or the General Directorate of Strategic Planning and Projects, which gave coherence and content to the company's strategy in the long, medium and short term.Convinced of the importance of being where decisions are made, I have placed ADIF at the forefront of presence and influence at the European level, as president of EIM, the European association of railway infrastructure managers (the first Spaniard to hold this position), with a high level of dialogue with the heads of the European institutions. I am the liaison of the steering committee with the organizations and entities that operate internationally in the railway field.Good and enthusiastic communicator, I participate in Congresses, Conferences and Events both in Spanish and English inside and outside Spain; I act as a proud ambassador of the transformation that high speed has brought to Spain.Passionate about continuing education, I have complemented my training as a civil engineer with studies in Law and International Strategic Management, and with courses at ESADE and IE. I teach masterclasses at different universities; I have been appointed Honorary Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. I am part of Women to Watch with the aim of completing my skills to be an Independent Board Director.I promoted the ADIF Chair at the UPM and ADIF's participation as a founding member in the Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking, for railway innovation in Europe.I develop an intense activity for the support and visibility of women in management positions and in the STEM field, through mentoring in different programs. I promoted the LIDERA internal mentoring project at ADIF.I actively participate with the College of Civil Engineers, which has recognized me with the Medal of Professional Merit and recently with the Medal of Honor
