I come from Mexico and have a Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering at the ITESM (Institute of Technological and Higher Studies Monterrey). I have also completed a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada. In my master thesis, I worked with high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).From August 2008 to September 2009, I was an exchange student in Germany at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, and I did an internship at Bosch where I developed software for image processing. In the summer of 2010, I also did an internship at Flextronics, where I enforced my skills in project management. From January 2011 to May 2011, I did an internship at Continental AG, where I worked in the construction of a Cartesian robot.After completing my bachelor's degree, I worked as a product engineer at Continental AG. After that, I worked as a control engineer and project engineer at a Mexican company (ICASA). My activities in these companies required analytical thinking and self-responsible actions.I am always trying to strengthen my soft skills; therefore, I am committed to activities where self-initiative, leadership, and communication are needed. Examples of these are when I organized the workshop for the International 2010 Mechatronics Conference at the ITESM University, and recently I led a scientific writing group in the center for writers at the University of Alberta. Through my language skills (German, French, Spanish and English), I can work with people from different cultural backgrounds. I like to work in teams and can also take responsibility for my own projects. With my stay in Germany and Canada, I have gained almost 5 years of experience abroad. Due to my studies and professional experience, I am particularly interested in working as a consultant, where I can help with automation solutions, medical imaging, electronic equipment, business strategy, and project management.
