I am a writer, pilot, and student passionate about national security, international relations, and aviation. I am currently studying at Harvard Law School, and am particularly interested in the laws of armed conflict and the defense and civil aviation sectors.At Duke (B.A. 2022), I primarily focused on Political Science, writing my senior thesis on how bombing strategies affected public statements in the British parliament. I also studied Earth and Ocean Sciences, which led me to the University of Cambridge (MPhil 2023) to pursue a master's in Environmental Policy. There, I wrote my dissertation on the human health effects of leaded general aviation fuel, and received distinction for the work. I spent the next year at Tel Aviv University in Israel, studying for a master's in Security and Diplomacy and honing my interest in defense strategies with a focus on aviation. Outside of academia, I have been a journalist since age 12, when I began writing for Aero-News Network. Since then, I wrote for my local paper and was managing editor of Duke's newspaper. I continue to publish as a freelance aviation journalist, and am editor of the DC-3 Society newsletter.
