At one of the most reputable surveying and mapping firms in the New York Metropolitan area, I managed an assortment of administrative duties including a massive digitization and modernization project. I completed the digitization of 5,000+ physical maps and surveys dating back to the 1860s. After thirty years in business, my project was a necessary step toward the future of the company, allowing easier access to information. With the use of a modernized digital filing system, it is effortless to sort through hundreds of projects for innumerable clients over the years, along with information and maps from other firms.Working alongside engineers at the top of their field, I gained key insight into clients in both the private and public sectors along with the actual processes of surveying work. With the company's primary focus on the environmental field, my knowledge in this topic area was a key asset. I was also a primary point of contact on new technologies in the office that allow the company to run even more seamlessly.My digitization process not only allowed the company to move forward toward a future in which the administrative work with surveying and mapping is easier, but also has allowed me to learn about both the actual processes associated with surveys and maps and the intricacies of running a business with such a broad portfolio of clients where perfection is necessary.

Through the George Washington University Department of Athletics, I provided individualized teaching in multiple 1000-level and 2000-level Economics courses to a group of five Student Athletes. Over the course of the semester, I created individualized curriculums for each Student Athlete in accordance with both their academic and athletic schedules to not only help them learn the subject material, but also empower them to develop new study skills and better habits around their academics. Assisting in coursework in Principles of Mathematics for Economics, Principles of Economics I, Principles of Economics II, International Trade Theory & Policy, and International Macroeconomic Theory & Policy, I focused on study skills, time management, test-taking strategies, and fostering an interest in the subject of Economics.

As a part of both the field team and social media team on Suraj Patel's 2022 campaign for the House in NY-12, I committed myself to the incredibly rewarding experience of talking to voters throughout Manhattan every day. Phonebanking, doorknocking, and managing the @surajpatelnyc Instagram, I educated voters about the election, both in English and Spanish. I led groups of volunteers and interns to speak with voters at various events and in apartment buildings across the city, including spending a significant portion of time with low-income voters in NYCHA housing. After joining the social media team a month into my time with the campaign, I created graphics for both digital and print content, took photos and videos, and worked closely alongside a team of talented individuals to curate an effective social media presence. As is the nature of political campaigns, our work moved incredibly quickly. The organization and teamwork of the communications team were essential to ensure our message was easily accessible to New Yorkers. In the newly redrawn 12th district and in a race against two incumbents, our campaign garnered 20% of the vote from New Yorkers looking for change and a progressive, pragmatic future for New York City politics thanks to our work in the field and on social media.

As a team member at the Elliott School's Department of External Affairs, I worked on event management along with the coordination of social media activity. I assisted in the organization of the 2022 Elliott School graduation celebration, helping to manage the catering and general planning for this large-scale event. The event spaces managed by the External Affairs Department at 1957 E Street also fell under my scope of work; I was trained to assist in hosting guest speakers or faculty events and provide technological support.Contributing to the Elliott School Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts, which total over 500,000 followers across platforms, I created text, photo, video, and graphic digital content. I managed a platform-wide posting schedule and coordinated with a social media team based across state lines. My social media work allowed the External Affairs Department to explore new content avenues and posting strategies and reap the benefits in engagement online.
