My passion (or rather, fascination) with marketing and effectuating change through the power of the people materialized through a love for storytelling and analysis. Growing up, I have always loved expressing myself creatively, whether that was through writing or dance (now competitive cheerleading) and now I have begun to apply it to my professional experiences. Through my experiences working in digital marketing, I have continued to hone my data analysis, copywriting, and content creation skills. Storytelling through branding is something I hope to explore further in my future endeavours but as someone who is driven by passion and curiosity, I am constantly seeking out different communities and opportunities such as Fan to Band where I can begin to network with professionals in the entertainment industry in order to begin this journey. To align my marketing interests with the social sciences, I also participated in the NYU Precollege program where I took a Media, Culture, and Communications class. This opened my eyes to philosophers such as Adorno, Warner, and Horkheimer who often discuss the intersection of mass culture and society. With my passion for both philosophy and marketing, I hope to bring an in-depth understanding of audience and trend analysis to the table and further the discussion beyond surface-level data. As a competitive cheerleader for 5 years, I have learned how to work and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment while balancing my time with school work and extra-curriculars. Communication, creative problem solving and adaptability are at the heart of cheerleading and I carry these principles with me in everything I do. In my free time, you can catch me at the cheer gym flipping and inevitably falling (but always getting back up!), creating movie/music posters on Adobe Photoshop, and geeking out on societal commentary-style video essays.
