Maria Pop is founder of the law firm Pop si Asociatii. Maria is a reputed lawyer and insolvency practitioner with substantial expertise in corporate, M&A, business restructuring and insolvency. Maria has a wide range of experience regarding foreign investor’s issue in Romania, practicing business law for over 25 years and being involved in corporate and merger & acquisitions work (including structuring a variety of joint venture/contractual arrangements, reorganization matters), as well as in dispute resolution, banking, restructuring and insolvency. I regularly advise in and out of court on restructuring and reorganization measures, as well as on all matters of insolvency law, including capital maintenance, insolvency challenge rights, loan security structures, and collaterals.
