As an Associate Developer at Sunlight, I had the opportunity to work on an internal web product aimed at managing user orders on the platform. My role involved being a part of the entire planning process, from conceptualization to execution, interface design, and the delivery of the final product.The product was developed using Emberjs and Tailwindcss, two popular web development frameworks, and it is currently being used by multiple users. Throughout the project, I worked closely with my team to ensure that the product met the needs of our users, was user-friendly, and delivered a seamless experience.This experience has enabled me to develop valuable skills in product development, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Laboratoria is a programming bootcamp that teaches women in Latin America about web development and UX design. The program simulates a work environment where we work following user requirements. During the program, I have had the opportunity to create web pages using pure CSS, HTML, JavaScript and frameworks like Vue. I have tested my functions using Jest and we have organized ourselves using the agile Scrum methodology. I learned how to use tools like Trello and Figma, as well as the principles of visual design, designing for responsive websites, and the fundamentals of UX.Through planning user stories, acceptance criteria, and defining what is "done" for assigned tasks, I have improved my teamwork skills by pair programming with different colleagues. I also executed a back-end project that was displayed in the console using Node.js. In addition to technical skills, the program also provided soft skills workshops on self-awareness, resilience, productive feedback, and effective time management, among others.I am grateful for the comprehensive education that Laboratoria has provided me with, which has expanded my skill set and enabled me to work efficiently in a team setting.
