I'm a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut where I majored in Psychology. My education has helped me to understand and adapt to people in all environments and from various backgrounds. That paired with my busy, and cultural upbringing make me a quick study of all situations. I work extremely well as a self- starter working to complete my own tasks as well as in group settings where being an effective team member is paramount to a job well done. I am driven, detail-oriented, organized yet flexible, a very quick study and enjoy the challenge of learning new things. In each of my workplaces, I have carved out a place for myself by always working hard and maintaining a friendly, yet professional demeanor. In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, playing tennis, and keeping in touch with all my friends and family.In an effort not to remain idle, after being laid off during the Covid-19 downturn, I decided to study and get my VA Real Estate license. I am beyond excited to begin this new career and essentially be my own boss! Please reach out if you or anyone you know is looking for a place to call home, for the short or long term. 🙂Before this career change, I served as a Project Engineer with the Supply Chain/Industrial Management team (and spent time with the EVMS team before that) with QuEST Global, which allowed me to learn many things about the Aero Space industry such as: data analysis, ordering and tracking parts, and reading engineer drawing. I also had the opportunity to further hone my Microsoft Excel, multi-tasking, and customer service skills. I am driven, detail-oriented, organized yet flexible, a very quick study and enjoy the challenge of learning new things. I pride myself in always working hard and maintaining a positive demeanor.Prior to working with QuEST Global I wore many hats at U.S. Security Associates, a national security company. For my branch, I was the primary Human Resource Manager, Payroll and Operations Manager as well as the primary Administrative Assistant for the office which housed 2 branches. I moved on from successful and rewarding work in early childhood education and teaching at an inner city, non-profit private middle school for girls through AmeriCorps.
