Case Manager for residential program housing youths in out-of-home care venturing through transition to adulthood.

As a Lifestyle Support Officer I was part of a team where we focused on nurturing various aspects of our residents' lives as they transitioned into facility living, including their psychological, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and spiritual well-being.  Based on the residents needs we were responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing a program that fosters a supportive and enriching environment. Responsibilities include organising recreational activities, facilitating social interactions, and ensuring residents have access to resources that promote a fulfilling and balanced lifestyle.   Starting off in this role as a volunteer I reconnected with my passion for service and was able to make a genuine difference in the quality of life for people who rely on others for support and advocacy.
