As the receptionist, I am first point of contact for our firm whether by phone or in person. My ability to maintain a calm disposition is vital to this firm. This position requires efficient multitasking skills throughout the entire day. I have proven to the firm that I am capable of keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently.Duties include but are not limited to:• Ensuring the reception area is tidy and ready for clients • Answering telephone calls and directing to appropriate staff • Taking messages and forwarding to the appropriate staff• Greeting clients • Running daily cost recovery reports• Receiving and distributing all faxes as they come in• Receiving and distributing incoming mail• Opening files in PC Law and File Importing System, then delivering to appropriate individual• Processing payments (online credit card payments, client paying accounts or retainers, and notary payments)• Preparing the bank books for bank deposits and doing bank runs as necessary• Placing service calls (photocopy repairs, phone issues, IT issues, handymen, etc)• Ordering supplies• Adding postage and maintaining the postage machine • Closing off daily batches on the debit machine• Being responsible for and ensuring petty cash is put in safe at the end of every day

Legal Collections Representative acting as a liason with legal counsel, trustees, receivers and bailiffs to provide and relay requested information.Providing administartive support to AVP of Portfolio Management on high profile account by maintaining Credit Surveillance Accounts, attending mediations and legal trials on files with exposures under $100K and providing undertakings on legal files when necessary.Legal Collection - finalization of all assigned legal files by determining potential recoveries and ensuring reserves are allocated correctly, monitoring of court cases and follow through on the finalization or write off of files
