I have worked in the sales and recruitment industry since 1996, firstly for a major high street agency and secondly for a specialist niche consultancy, progressing from recruiting on a day to day basis to specialising in sales and recruitment training. I have experience in both contract and permanent recruitment, during my career also running international recruitment companies and managing various teams and billing a Million on a desk myself.Since 2001 I have purely focused on the training side, firstly with a niche agency in the construction sector and from 2008 running my own sales and recruitment training business in sectors such as construction, telecoms, media, aerospace, banking & IT. Recruitment Services Consultant for Persimmon Homes PLC (£3.4bn turnover) managing and driving the Group's resourcing. Persimmon is a growing national developer. Initially working with the South East Operating Businesses, specifically with offices in Essex, Berkshire, Kent, Hampshire and Surrey I am also adding support to offices in Devon, Cornwall, Avon, Wiltshire, the Midlands and the North whilst also working sensitive roles for the PLC business. This contract has been extended to 5 years for review at the end of 2021. Agency cost savings will be over £2.5 million over a 5 year period with circa 500 hires.

Training Services is a Company formed by myself specialising in Sales & Recruitment Training. Working with a number of Companies in "The Times Top 100 Companies" including Hill Mcglynn as one of my top Clients.

Whilst working at HillMcglynn I worked very closely with Mark Bull (Director) to vet every consultant that walked through the door, putting them through a two week training course, also coaching them on a one to one basis throughout their careers with HillMcglynn. I joined when HillMcglynn turned over £27m up until £138m when I left in Dec 08. I also trained other trainers & set up training function for other Companies in the Vedior group, hence why I went self-employed for HillMcglynn in Oct 04.Hillmcglynn have now been brought by Ranstad and the Company name is now Ranstad Construction. I would train trainee with no experience up to Branch Manager level whilst at Hillmcglynn.
