I am passionate about supporting social change and system change. Patience is my strength, understanding cultural & workplace change takes time, resilience & commitment! I’m an ICB Lead with expertise in Universal Personalised Care, Social Prescribing. Prior to joining the NHS my background was addressing health inequalities and the non- clinical wider determinants of health, leading on 3rd sector contracts for Adult Social Care, Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS England. Competent and strong leadership - I’ve loved developing and coaching new managers, and proud of their success! I’m experienced in the strategic and operational management of multiple contracts, running a Community Interest Company, Supported Housing and Direct Access Accommodation services, as well as dispersed community services. Before joining Nottingham & Nottingham CCG I led & directed community connectivity/social prescribing services and housing & homelessness prevention services, raising awareness and supporting those impacted most by health inequalities. Key areas of interest, investing in the strength of the individual, Personalised Care - Social Prescribing approaches and the need for investment into Community Assets, Health Inequalities, Transforming Care - Living & Ageing Well Themes and supporting system & cultural change. I’m #PersonalisedCareInsitute PCI Accredited Trainer - Personalised Care & Support Plan Training.NHS England #QSIR certified. Proud to have been an NHS England Associate from Oct 2019 - April 2022 as the East Midlands Social Prescribing Regional Learning Coordinator and part of the Midlands Personalised Care Regional Expansion Team - providing operational support to the Primary Care Network Social Prescribing Link Workers, Social Prescribing Leads and PCN development, influencing strategies and creating regional peer networks.
