I am a Senior Programme Manager with responsibility for implementation of the Strategic Framework for Medical Imaging Services in Northern Ireland, extending across a wide range of medical imaging services particularly those in adult radiology (including oncology), paediatric radiology, interventional radiology, cardiology and obstetrics. With the co-chairs, I will lead the Regional Medical Imaging Board (RMIB) for NI to advise the Department of Health on the strategic direction for medical imaging under a single regional body.

This role involved supporting the Directorate of Older People and Primary Care to deliver recurrent savings of circa £9m as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review. The aim was to deliver this through a combination of financial scrutiny and service improvement in order to deliver best care for best value. I worked with a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary senior management team and acted as the "critical friend" as well as leading on key reform projects to transform clinical and care pathways.
