Also responsible for payroll entry, invoicing, filing, record keeping, ordering supplies and organizing the office. • Adeptly use software programs (ProCore, B2W, etc.) and leverage my technical proficiencies to assist with minor technical support issues in the office. • Efficiently process the paperwork, including what equipment was used, employee hours and code everything out into the database for replacing water main pipes in Kelowna. This is a multimillion dollar project connecting every residence to improve the water quality throughout Kelowna in this multiyear project.• Project includes more than 100 crew members and approximately 20 management staff (superintendents, project managers, engineers, project coordinators) to support. When I started there was no administrative assistant there for a month so had to input a month's worth of paperwork (payroll entry, invoices, input daily project milestone notes) in 2 weeks, as well as update all incoming data/paperwork. In my first month on site, sorted, entered and organized all files and created a filing system for the office to quickly access necessary permits and paperwork. Also cleaned up and organized the filing of documents on the company server. • Taught myself all the on-site software and systems used on the project. • Streamlined many processes and got all the foremen (10) on-board with a better structured and more detailed reporting system. • Strived and succeeded at foreseeing any reports, supplies or paperwork the management team needed so it was available before they asked for it. • Position was 95% self-directed, assessing, prioritizing and completing tasks according to importance.
