I am managing the municipal partnership project Climate Smart and Resilient Municipalities between Lidköping and Lusaka City Council in Zambia on the themes of circular economy, green and blue infrastructure and youth participation.

6 months interim assignment at ForumCiv's Hub for Eastern and Southern Africa. I was responsible for the start-up phase of the Wajibu Wetu programme aiming at deepening democracy, human rights and gender equality in Kenya. The programme supports creative actors using culture, artivism and media.

I managed the Impact and Quality Assurance Unit employing 8 staff members. The Unit was responsible for the global processes of method development, capacity development, programme development and grant management. I was the Grant Manager of the Sida Civsam grant and represented ForumCiv in relation to Sida. I was part of the global management team of ForumCiv.

The Project Support Unit was responsible for the sub-granting to Swedish civil society organisations with an annual budget of about 25 000 000 EUR. Apart from sub-granting the Unit was responsible for method and capacity development including e-learning. In the position I held the responsibility of Grant Manager of the Sida Civsam grant and represented ForumCiv in relation to Sida. The Unit employed 23 staff members reporting directly to me. I was part of the global management team of ForumCiv.

I managed the Capacity Development Unit employing 5 staff members. The unit was responsible for the development and establishment of systems and procedures for quality assurance and internal control, including result-based management, method & capacity development and organisational learning. Thematic areas of responsibility included Economic Empowerment, Health, and Education. The position involved grant management of the Sida Civsam grant and to represent IM in relation to Sida.

I managed the country programmes in the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Jordan, Palestine, and Lebanon, which involved operational and strategic development, human resources, and financial management. The regional office was located in Chisinau, Moldova. In total the region employed 90 staff members whereof four country directors reported directly to me. I had a special assignment to transform the entire programme portfolio from needs to rights-based, and to phase out own service delivery.

The position included support and quality assurance of the work carried out by country offices and civil society partners in the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Serbia in the areas of rural development, sustainable agriculture, disability rights and Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV). In 2006, I was stationed in Serbia for three months with the assignment to manage a change process aiming at phasing out IM’s engagement in Serbia. The process resulted in the establishment of the local NGO, Odraz.

I was stationed in Chisinau for four months managing the Moldova country office.

I managed an internal change and rebranding process aiming at strengthening the organisational identity and effectiveness of IM Swedish Development Partner. The process involved members, the board of directors and employees and resulted in a reorganisation, strategy for human resource development and a new brand platform.

I was part of a sales team offering insurance services to larger companies. I did analyses and established pension plans for CEOs and persons in management positions and held workshops and seminaries for employees.
