I have been responsible for both, strategic Communication counsel and support for corporate-wide internal communications activities as well as strategic development of public engagement in support of the Peel Public Works wastewater team. This includes, but is not limited too: - support for employee engagement activities - developing a communication.

Responsible for enhancing corporate and departmental objectives by providing strategic communications counsel and tactical support for internal clients. Key responsibilities include; public & media relations, community relations, resource development and internal communications.

• Managed the Corporate Communications team of four. Responsible for departmental budget, creation and execution of strategic communications plans, oversaw planning and execution of corporate special events. Assumed role.
• Special events management for such events as the CTFS Auction Gala, which raised $350,000 for local charities.
• Re-launch of employee newsletter, delivering corporate, Human Resources and internal marketing messages to employees, helping to foster a positive corporate culture.
• Developed and executed change management communication strategy for major change initiatives.
• Communicated major business initiatives and corporate strategy to employees to obtain buy-in and contribute to improved employee engagement.
• Member of CTFS’ Emergency Response Team.

• Created and executed strategic communications plans, planned and executed corporate special events, from cradle-to-grave, with budgets ranging from $50K to $80K. Wrote corporate articles, presentations, speeches, memos.
• Created communications strategy for launch five year corparote strategy to employees.
• Special events managment & execution of several successful major corporate events.
• Acted as team lead on several key corporate projects including, marketing product launches, Human Resources “Your Pay & How it Works” initiative and corporate-wide five-year strategy launch.
