• Evaluate fabrics, trims, components and finished products on Restricted substances in compliance with US/Canada/ International Consumer Product Safety Act and Material Regulation. (CPSIA, REACH and California Prop 65 ).• Ensure all fabrics, trim and other components are passed the test requirements for hazardous chemicals in fabric, trim performance test.• Evaluate sample's constructions, design, techniques and small parts components, hardware components to comply with safety requirements for potential small parts choking, mechanical sharp points/ edges, and strangulation critical hazard.• Evaluate children's sleepwear tight fitting and loose fitting in compliance with Health Canada and US requirements for Flammability.• Partner closely with Technical /Design team to understand product end-use and customer expectation• Collaborate with external vendor partners during development and bulk production phases to ensure clear expectations are set and met, and required communication is efficient and effective• Where the end-use is not covered by existing protocols, determine appropriate test protocols to ensure performance in bulk to standards set in development• Check 3rd party lab reports for fabric / garment test reports and confirmed acceptability• Check 3rd party lab AQL- Final Inspection report from all supplier and make disposition for final approval.• Compile and maintain regulatory documentation, test reports, databases or systems Create.
