Responsibilities carried out are promoting the company in Europe and abroad and managing the European projects in which the company is participating, regarding Geographical Information, Territorial Information Systems and Spatial Data Infrastructures.Activities: Identify potential projects (co-funded by EC or international tenders), International tenders and proposals coordination and preparation, projects and contracts management and monitoring (financial and technical) and dissemination, training actions coordination, workshops organization.I coordinate and lead business development activities for INSPIRE and COPERNICUS issues.In this period in Tracasa, I have been involved as a project manager in projects related to GIS developments, INSPIRE and Copernicus program. The general task performed in the projects included:• Project management for GI/GIS development, including proposals for project strategies, planning, risk and change management.• Monitoring costs, timescales and resource requirements for successful completion of each project• Interdisciplinary team coordination (up to 30 partners from different countries) focussed on quality, team building, capacity building and timeliness based on experience gained in different projects and a good knowledge of traditional PM (PMP and PM2) and Agile tools and techniques.• Reporting activities: designing, proposing templates and providing accurate reports• Dissemination activities: promotion, organisation and participation in workshops, technical and organizational presentations, internal regular progress meetings. Giving presentations on technical and strategic topics related to GI• Assessing and monitoring staff including subcontractors and partners of the consortia• Development of GIS basic courses. • Guest lecturer in several courses about introduction to GI or GIS advanced level by INAP. The main duties are to follow up on the contracts' execution in terms of the work done and the satisfaction of the clients.

I participate in the Project for the Validation of Copernicus Emergency Mapping Services (JRC). My role is, as emergency expert, to support in the understanding of the requirements of the users during the crisis activation.
