I started studying Deep Learning for my Bachelor's thesis work in 2018 and I began working as a Software Engineer with a focus on Computer Vision right after.I paused my career to attend the EIT Digital Autonomous Systems double-degree Master's programme. My studies allowed me to deepen my knowledge in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Automatic Control at the University of Trento and Aalto University. Moreover, I had the chance to focus my thesis work on Machine Learning, during an internship in Data Science at Amazon.Just after I submitted my thesis for approval, I started working as a Computer Science teacher to share my passion and knowledge with students.After a couple of years spent supporting students' learning and the development of their projects, I have realized I miss learning and developing innovative solutions myself, so I decided to start a PhD in AI for Automated Vulnerability Repair.
