• Supervise and direct all financial activities of the hotel, safeguards assets and prepares all financial reports for management and ownership.• Perform the month end close including preparation of journal entries and review of the P&L.• Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts• Process bi-weekly payroll.• Monitor and approve all purchases, salaries and expenses of the hotel.• Oversee contracts and legal agreements and maintain licenses, permits and contracts.• Establish and audit internal financial controls including purchasing, cash handling and disbursements, inventories, master keys and associate time records.• Oversee audits conducted by internal and external auditors.• Ensure compliance with union contracts and tenants.

• Main point of contact for all financial-related activities at the property level and prepares all related reports for corporate office and ownership.• Manages operational functions including accounts payables and receivables, general cashiering and auditing night audit, including entry of the daily report into M3.• Tracking and reconciliation of all tax exempt revenue, including MEPS and airline contracts and of all comp food and beverage charges.• Responsible for all month end information to be sent to corporate including property management reports, inventories, AR recaps, etc.• Payroll processing backup support to human resources.

• Daily input and balancing of audit for corporate office and research and identify variances.• Day-to-day processing of all components of Accounts Receivable, review in-house group bills daily to ensure there is a form of payment and/or deposit requirements to charge before group arrival. • Update, create and/or update accounting policies and/or procedures, analyze expenses and labor costs to identify areas of potential savings and reach out to departments for controls.• Prepare and submit semi-monthly payroll, conduct monthly payroll audits and issue pay checks. Process manual checks as needed. • Perform all duties of cash management for the property.• Daily reconciliation of PM Ledger, Advance Deposit Ledger and groups in-house.

• Responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting department.• Prepare daily revenue report from financial information detailing revenues and expense.• Process payroll through ADP payroll system. • Prepare daily deposit and balance.• Balance daily credit card deposits with bank records.• Responsible for accounts receivable/payables to ensure collections and billings are current.• Assist human resources with hiring and training.
