María del Castillo, PhD, is an executive with an outstanding track record in technology and business. She graduated #1 Top of her class in 𝗟𝗮𝘄 and completed the first master's degree in Legaltech in Spain. She furthered her education at the London School of Economics (LSE) with a program in Digital World. María holds a PhD in Humanities, specializing in bioethics and biomedical sciences. Embracing her philosophy of "𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴," she has pursued further 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in business, 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, and innovation at prestigious institutions such as IE, ESADE, IESE, and MIT Sloan School of Management.María's professional career began in the educational sector, leading business development at a private university, later managing procurement and technology at a Shared Services Center for 12 EMEA countries. As Chief Operating Officer for Spain, she oversaw key areas such as IT and 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, Real Estate, and Asset Management.Currently, María is the Managing Director of Dékuple Spain and Portugal, a data marketing agency listed on the Paris Stock Exchange. In this role, she implemented a flexible and remotely work policy, achieving environmental certifications such as ECOVADIS Gold Medal, achieving a doubling of business revenue, improving team satisfaction to 87.2%, and launching successful new business lines. She has led and transformed 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. She is Senior Advisor at Cysuite Group in Dubai, specializing in cybersecurity, and serves as Vice President of EJE&CON.
