Maria del Mar has extensive international experience in educational planning, business development, and event production. Currently she serves as the Senior Director of Education at Young President's Organization.As an executive at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), she managed a team producing high-impact international conferences for over 7000 leading entrepreneurs from 38 countries. While at Latina Style Magazine, Maria del Mar empowered Hispanic woman entrepreneurs through the production of business development programs across the US. At the Greater Washington Initiative (GWI)- Maria del Mar traveled globally promoting the Washington DC area while connecting foreign investors and dignitaries with local companies and area resources. Additionally, she helped launch the International Gateway, a division of the Greater Washington Board of Trade created to foster international trade. Maria offers a true global perspective with her bi-cultural background, multi-lingual skills and experience in over 30 countries around the globe.
