About Maria De Perlinghi

With our team of passionate and driven partners and colleagues, I’m on a mission to shape the future of impact investing. Together, we’re building Norselab into an impact asset management firm that redefines what finance can achieve. Our quest? To offer a range of commercially attractive impact investment products across asset classes to channel more capital toward achieving the UN SDGs.Since day one, I’ve been dedicated to this mission. Alongside the other partners, I work to envision and create investment products that our future requires and the markets want—and to raise the capital needed to bring these solutions to life. I spearheaded the development of Norselab’s “Meaningfulness” philosophy and frameworks, helping position us as a leader in the impact investing space. In our day-to-day operations, I lead our firm's impact practice, ensuring that our principles stay central to every decision. I also serve on the Board of Directors of Norselab Group and represent Norselab on the Board of Directors of NorNAB, the Norwegian Advisory Board for Impact Investing. My journey into impact investing wasn’t exactly linear. It started at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by nearly a decade at the Norwegian Seafood Council in Paris, where sustainability and communications were my daily focus. In 2018, I took a leap into the unknown with impact investing and haven’t looked back since. Stepping into finance wasn’t in the original plan, but it’s been the most fulfilling choice I could have made.
