I answered the phone at the front desk, answering questions and entering reservations. I checked guests in and out of the hotel, handling billing and credit card transactions. I handled excel spreadsheets and word documents.

I edited and maintained the events calendar for CU Boulder's website as well as writing student and campus features for the news section of CU Boulder's website.

I reported on stories that were then published in both the newspaper and on the Greeley Tribune's website. I gained experience in many areas including interviewing, writing, working with a content manager (Saxotec), working with editors and fellow reporters, photography and time management/efficiency in making deadlines.
