Worked in the Portfolio Expansion team, a part of Technical Operations. Responsible for receiving and implementing newly developed products (NPI) into production. The main tasks involved identifying suitable production methods, ensuring secure operator-friendly, as well as logistically and technologically feasible processes, conducting relevant risk assessments, and ongoing verifications and validations of the processes.

Employed by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) with permanent work place at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI). Working with scientific issues and development projects concerning hazardous chemicals and energetic materials. This includes research on the analysis and synthesis of energetic materials and its precursors, their production, use and handling, with a special focus on safety, risk and impact assessments. This includes expert knowledge on ther thermal behavior of ammonium nitrate and ammonium nitrate-based explosives.Furthermore, I have been facilitator, project manager and coordinator of several joint research projects.Other areas of responsibility include being the coordinator and Point of Contact (POC) for FFI in the EU project ENTRAP (Horizon 2020), chemical advisor for Norwegian authorities, as well as the Norwegian representative in the Standing Committee on Precursors (EU), Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UN), and UN Sub-Committee of Experts on the GHS (UN).And important part of the position was also to function as a liaison between DSB and FFI.
