Starting as an intern, I was able to explore various responsibilities within a small, three-person nonprofit focused on increasing the number of women and girls in ESTEAM (Enterprise and the Arts powered by STEM). After co-authoring a winning Belgian Government proposal, I moved from full-time employee to a member of management responsible for designing, managing, marketing and teaching the new Digital Muse After School (DMAS) program and our office IT assets.- Fostered relationship and program management with top tech industry partners, including Amazon Web Services, IBM, and Salesforce- Developed multiple grant proposals, including a winning 300k Euro Belgian Government proposal- Executed multiple multicultural /multilingual events across Europe, including coordination of the Girl Tech Fest (80 volunteers, 150+ participants, in three languages)- Headed marketing, technical course design and delivery of the Digital Muse After School program and Digital Muse brand that led to DLI being named as one of the top 100 startups in Belgium- Coordinated a team of employees, interns, and volunteers

The Newsworthy project began through a competition to "challenge extremism" from the U.S. State Department, EdVenture and Facebook. Our team, made up of undergraduate students at Vesalius College, put together product centered around teaching media literacy and source verification as a way to combat extremism. The final product includes an active webpage , a Facebook page with almost 25,000 followers and a twitter account. Due to the success of the project, our team won a place in the top three finalists out of more than 50 international and U.S. universities. As Marketing and Development Coordinator, my role was to determine the target market, manage the Facebook page/Ads and creation of the educational workbook. Also, as one of the two original creators of the project plan, I assisted the Agency Coordinator in fulfillment of the project vision.
