While living in Santiago, Chile I connected with the owners of Austral Adventures. They offered me a position for the summer to manage and run their restaurant, La Candela. I provided hospitality to both the locals and International travelers. We catered to special groups traveling with Austral Adventures who organized private parties and excursions. I worked closely with the chef on menu planning and buying the freshest produce and meats as well as pairing these meals with Chile's best wines.
