I am a first-generation graduate student and research assistant with six cumulative years of experience in research, proposal writing, and statistical analysis. In my professional endeavors, I intend to demonstrate the same passion for learning as I did when I became the first in my family tree to step foot on a college campus. I am passionate about increasing the accessibility of knowledge and carving out opportunities for anyone to lean into their academic interests and pursue them with confidence. I am driven by the desire to engage in my community directly and contribute to a historically and culturally rich environment that serves its community members.
