Customer Service was not my dream job. I was an aspiring journalist in school, loving the intricacy of the English language and putting together a well thought out dissertation was always my strong suit. Although my first and current job is retail, I’ve found this to be very rewarding and connected with my original aspirations. Getting to be creative in my workspace as well as finding new and innovative ways to connect and communicate with my colleagues and customers has ignited a new kind of passion in me. Sharing ideas, praises and information with the company by putting together a soundly formulated email is oddly satisfying. I truly appreciate my role in customer service. Getting to interact with hundreds of different kinds of people daily and really getting to know the ins and outs of customer satisfaction has broadened my knowledge in remarkable ways.
