  • Netherrealm Studios (Wb Games)
    Junior Associate Software Engineer
Netherrealm Studios (Wb Games) Jan 2016 - Aug 2017
    Chicago, Il, Us
In my time working on NetherRealm Studios Koretech engine team, I've worked on a variety of tools including a MoCap batch processor, MotionBuilder FBX animation exporter, and a Perforce changelist syncing applet integrated with Django. Using WPF/XAML/C#, I worked with our studio's MoCap artists to extend the functionality/interface of Motive's batch processor software to better fit their needs. I also worked with cinema/in game animation artists to iterate on our new MotionBuilder FBX exporter tool and improve our pipeline. Outside of working with artists, I also worked with a fellow engineer on the engine team to add functionality to our changelist syncing applet in Perforce. Utilizing HTML/Javascript, I extended our existing Django web app to include new models, processes, and UI to facilitate custom Sync to Safe buttons that allow admins to create sync buttons that pass certain build type requirements. In addition to my tools work, I also did various bug-fixing of native code in our custom engine, and also spent a lot of time investigating, reproducing, and communicating crashes/bugs to one of our vendors over multiple iterations of their SDK. Work Dates: January '16 - October '16, January '17 - August '17
