Managing the recruitment of undergraduate students for the greater Houston, TX area. Developing and facilitating a robust recruitment plan that promotes the University to out-of-state students. Representing the university professionally at college fairs and high school visits, and executing arrangements for recruitment related travel. Evaluating admission applications in a timely manner and collaborating with a multi-state team of creative individuals to achieve set enrollment goals.

Facilitating the recruitment of freshman and transfer students within Ogden and Weber school districts of Utah and throughout the state of Colorado. Managing in-state and out-of-state territories through developing a targeted recruitment strategy, representing the university professionally at college fairs and high school visits, and executing arrangements for recruitment related travel. Evaluating admission applications in a timely manner and collaborating with a team of creative individuals motivated by enrollment goals.

Assisting with regular crop maintenance including: seeding, transplanting, harvest and system monitoring; Completing routine nutrient additions as well as monitoring plants for any nutrient deficiencies; Maintain cleanliness of farm including growing systems, greenhouse storage, and coolers; Assist in keeping farm operations manual up-to-date with best practices, maintenance procedures, and contingency plans.

he Peer Advocates Leaders Program (PAL) is an opportunity for mentors to focus and assist first year and upperclassmen students in their transition to and progress at the University of Colorado Denver. For the first-year student focus, the PAL groups are made up of one upperclassman Peer Mentor, a first-year seminar instructor (in most cases), and a small group of approximately 25 first year students, who have registered in and FYE course. In addition, group leaders are assigned a small group of peer mentors to support, encourage, and motivate throughout the semester.

Assist transfer students navigate the transfer process which includes admission inquiry to enrollment, provide outstanding customer service to prospective students in person, over the phone or electronically, lead campus tours & provide appropriate student referrals to other offices on campus – i.e Financial Aid, Advising, Residency, etc., participate fully in ALL large admissions & transfer specific events, email/Phone follow up, participate in student panel discussions, complete data entry tasks with a close attention to detail, prepare recruiting materials for admissions counselors, represent CU Denver professionally and enthusiastically, created sleek monthly newsletters for incoming transfer students

Assisting in preparing food for service, preparing meals during service, interacting with customers, maintaining cleanliness of line, kitchen, and cooler, communicating with other staff to ensure a smooth service.
