I serve as the research liaison to Division II and conduct research related to student-athlete academic success (ASR) and student-athlete well-being.

I was a graduate research assistant in the Diversity Psychology Lab led by Dr. Linh Littleford at Ball State University. The focus of the latest project was to devise effective diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training materials to help individuals identify and understand microaggressions. My responsibilities consisted of modifying and creating research materials, collaborating with lab members to create original research design, analyzing quantitative data, and recruiting participants.

I was a graduate student intern for Ball State University's Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support (IRDS). During my internship, I completed data management and security trainings, and collaborated with the IRDS intern team to create a university-specific glossary as the foundation of a Ball State University Data Cookbook.

I served a graduate teaching assistant (TA) for the duration of two semesters for two courses: PSYS 284: Research Methods in Psychological Science and PSYS 492: Research Seminar in Cultural Diversity and Social Attitudes. As a graduate TA, I prepared exam materials, graded and provided feedback on assignments, mentored undergraduate students through the process of developing a research project, introduced students to basic concepts of running statistical analyses through SPSS, and demonstrated tutorials on creating surveys through Qualtrics.

I worked with Dr. Calia Morais on a qualitative project exploring sources of resilience in Latinx older adults living with chronic pain. My responsibilities included reviewing relevant pain disparity and resilience literature, aiding in manuscript preparation, and conducting thematic analysis on de-identified transcripts.

I served as an undergraduate teaching assistant (TA) for PSY-P 335: Cognitive Psychology. As an undergraduate TA, I was responsible for proctoring exams, managing standardized exams such as Scantron and Akindi, grading and providing feedback on assignments, and communicating with students through email to answer questions.

CCB is a counseling service that works to increase accessibility to quality mental health care for marginalized populations in the Bloomington, Indiana community. My responsibilities included scribing for therapists during intake assessments, conducting play therapy with children, leading therapy sessions with adolescent clients, and transferring client data into online databases, and collaborating with counselors to develop client case conceptualizations.

Interact Family Services is a is a social work organization specializing in foster family advocacy for children and families residing in Indiana. My responsibilities included shadowing foster family advocates and therapists during case meetings, organizing and creating case files, transferring physical data into an online Department of Child Services database, and preparing documents for an upcoming audit.
