I am a 1st class degree graduate of Graphic Arts and Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. During my degree, I’ve completed a range of projects, including typography, web design, book layout and app design. I’m currently looking to gain industry experience within the design sector in the Bath/Bristol area. In my design work, I have a variety of interests. With each new project, I like to challenge myself to try or learn something new. My most recent project, taken from the ISTD briefs of 2018/19, resulted in a concept for an app. App design sits outside of my course teaching so I independently researched UX, UI and wireframing. In order to display a final outcome without a need for coding that was both functional and professional, I also learnt how to prototype with Adobe XD. I am currently a Team Leader at Hobbycraft. My role has allowed me to develop strong communication skills through customer interactions and small group demonstrations. I regularly assist customers with queries and problems related to their projects, often requiring me to use my knowledge of stock and personal experience to develop creative solutions.
