I fully believe in applying yourself in your personal time to grow your skillset and knowledge to be able to continue to grow both as a person and as an asset in your day-to-day career in the workplace. Having over a decade of experience in various management roles across several different types of workplaces has pushed me to fine-tune my skills to be able to bring the best I can to the workplace. And as a result, I have been able to advance myself to new positions both within the companies and to other organizations, to reach new roles I never thought possible.I pushed myself to grow within my first job in a fast-food workplace to become a Shift Manager. Within that role, I was able to expand to assist the General Manager in her duties, including scheduling and inventory/purchasing. I expanded my horizons and moved on to a clerical position within a magisterial office, and eventually to a team lead position within a hospital a year later. I was able to fine-tune both my clerical skillset and my confidence to be able to quickly learn my role and be able to expand within the positions to assist in other areas, learning more skillsets like Kronos Timekeeping, Payroll and scheduling appointments and meetings for up to 50 people within a week span. Because of my dedication to personal growth, I was able to advance myself to my current role: an Office Manager with a main focus in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable within a small local business right within my hometown.
