I currently am a 5th Grade Team Lead for Legacy Traditional Schools in Queen Creek. This is my 3rd year with this school (7th year as a teacher - not including my UnderGrad student teaching which contributes 2 additional years) and am looking to expand my work experience even more. I come from a teaching background with all elementary grades, except for 6th and 1st grade through my vastly demanding UnderGrad studies with being in full control of a classroom (behavioral, lesson plans, IEP's, accommodations/modifications to curriculum, developing my own curriculum, etc.) as my student teaching experience. I also was the lead teacher for Kindergarten and Preschool for 3 years at The Learning Experience in Crest Hill, IL (paid employment). I then went on to become a Reading Intervention Specialist for a year at Forest Park I. E. in Joliet, IL, (paid employment) helping grades K-5th grade each day with reading fundamentals that specific groups of students needed further help with mastering to excel in their homeroom classrooms. I also subbed during the employment, if there was a shortage on any particular day.As of right now, I coach 3 sports for grades 5-8 (Boys volleyball, Girls volleyball, and Track & Field) in their respectful seasons of the school year. I also lead a Track Club and Volleyball Club for beginners wanting to explore these sports, after school. Currently, I tutor 5 students after school each week focusing on ELA and Math strategies.
