Mariah Sumner brings to Space Foundation an extensive background of curriculum building and systems improvement. Her twenty-year career in education has included roles as Director of Curriculum and Director of Improvement Science partnering with state level leadership in the New England region of the US and internationally. Her early career included working in American international schools in the countries of Argentina, Ghana and Syria. In this role with Space Foundation, she will be engaging with congressional members & staff, public policy leaders and space advocacy groups in collaboration; as well as educating policy makers about space-related issues through creating a congressional space series course.
