Duties/Responsibilities:- Prepares detailed estimates for different bid projects limited to high and mid-rise building projects.- Seeks subcontractors and material suppliers that will offer a competitive cost for bidding projects.- Studies specifications to assist subcontractors and material suppliers of considerations to be included in cost proposal.- Researches construction materials, techniques and procedures that help to familiarize in construction industry.- Assists in maintaining the estimating cost data base to ensure that the costs are up to date.- Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work.- Prepares bid documents to be transmitted to engineering site if ever the bid project is awarded.- Ensures completeness of bid documents, bid bulletins and bid plans received from client.- Works with Sketch Up program together with MS Excel in generating quantities.Projects Involvement:• SM Glam Residences Client: SM Development Corporation Address: Edsa & Samar Avenue, Brgy.
