I recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Neuroscience- Cellular and Molecular track. In July 2023, I started working at the Maryland Neuroimaging Center as an MRI Technologist where I have had the opportunity to work closely with various research groups affiliated with the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NACS) Program at the University of Maryland. During this time, I have also been working as a research affiliate for the Language, Experience, and Development (LEAD) Lab with Dr. Rachel Romeo. In this role, I work on a project that investigates how early experiences influence their learning and cognitive development using behavioral, fNIRS, MRI, and home audio recordings. My efforts are particularly dedicated to the bilingual arm of this project. These experiences, along with others, have worked in conjunction to shape my interest in developmental neuroscience in the context of bilingualism and disability. I hope to be able to further explore and evolve this interest by returning to school in the near future.

The coding scheme used for these parent-child interactions specified the category and intensity of child and parent affects.
