CurrentAs the founder of our nonprofit organization, I am dedicated to cultivating a culturally-competent healthcare workforce tailored to address the unique needs of the Inland Empire community. Our mission is rooted in providing equitable opportunities to residents of San Bernardino County, empowering them to serve and uplift their local communities.Through our initiative, Health Empowerment through Active Leadership (HEAL), we strive to foster a community of health by nurturing healthcare professionals who are not only skilled in their field but also deeply connected to the cultural nuances and challenges prevalent in the SB County area.In this role, I oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the organization, working closely with stakeholders, community leaders, and educational institutions to ensure the success of our programs. By championing diversity, inclusion, and active engagement, I am committed to building a healthcare workforce that reflects and understands the diverse needs of our community.Together, we believe that by empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources to lead in healthcare, we can create a healthier, more vibrant future for all residents of the Inland Empire.
