As a News Producer at WJTV 12, I am responsible for developing, writing, and coordinating content for six shows per week. I work with a team of reporters, editors, and engineers to ensure a smooth and seamless broadcast, providing editorial guidance and overseeing story development throughout the shift. I also write and produce teases and cold opens for the 5pm news cast, engaging the viewers and generating online traffic.I graduated from Jackson State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies, where I gained a solid foundation in journalism, communication, and social media. Prior to joining WJTV 12, I served as a Social Media Coordinator at Impressions of Beauty, where I managed the online presence and interaction of the organization, analyzing trends and data to target the audience and boost brand identification. I also have experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Division of Finance and Administration, where I handled sensitive student information and processed thousands of forms for payment plans.I am passionate about delivering results and exceeding expectations, with a well-rounded background in marketing and project management. I am a versatile and creative thinker who is always eager to explore new ideas and approaches. I value building meaningful relationships and delivering high-quality work that makes a real impact.
