Born and raised in Olympia, Washington, I spent two years in Arizona honing my planning experience and knowledge. With a master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, I am an accomplished urban planner with a diverse background. My experience spans both the public and private sectors, gained through valuable internships and professional engagements. Notably, I have worked with the City of Tempe's Community Development Planning Department, supported Matrix Design Group's Planning Team, and provided planning services for Fourth World Design Group.In my roles, I have developed a wide range of skills that directly contribute to successful planning outcomes. These skills include conducting development reviews, implementing development regulation amendments, updating comprehensive plans, conducting research and data interpretation, and preparing studies and reports. I am also proficient in using various software programs, including GIS, to effectively analyze and visualize data, enabling data-driven decision making.Beyond my technical expertise, I am deeply passionate about contributing to the development of vibrant and sustainable communities.
