I create and maintain various forms of training materials being sent out to the technicians in the Maintenance and Engineering department. I also schedule organize and schedule the classes and various training needs for our regional stations.

It is my job to track and maintain the records for all tools owned by Alaska Airlines. I also make sure that all the stations have the proper tools to maintain the aircrafts. It is important to make sure that the mechanics have the tools that they need to properly maintain the aircraft according to the guidelines in place.

I worked with a team of instructors to introduce new hires to the Alaska company. I would teach them how to use Alaska's reservation system and how to follow the laws and regulations put in place by multiple government agencies. The system that I taught is called IMAGE and its something that overlays the more commonly used SABRE system.

Portland, Oregon Area

As a passenger service agent, I was responsible for ensuring that passengers traveling on Alaska airlines and Horizon airlines would have a safe and on time departure. It was important that I knew and followed the laws and regulations put in place by multiple government agencies. Customer service was a key part of my daily routine.

As a ground service agent I was responsible for making sure that the aircrafts used were properly secured while on the ground. I was also in charge of making sure that the weight and balance was properly submitted in a timely fashion and that all luggage and other shipments made it onto the flights.

As a caregiver I was responsible for making sure that the residents were properly taken care of. This includes giving out and recording the proper medications, making doctor appointments when necessary, preparing the correct meals, showering the residents, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
