Facilitated analysis to restructure Medicaid and CHIP clinical and operational policies and associated business processes with program, contract, and policy experts across HHSC, and engaged stakeholders to provide input into the redesign and implementation.

Served at the state health department for over ten years in positions with increasing responsibility. Coordinated development of the first comprehensive program and response plan for the State of Texas to receive and distribute medication and supplies from the Strategic National Stockpile, a national resource for responding to public health emergencies. Worked closely with stakeholders in federal, state, regional, and local organizations from multiple disciplines including public health, health care, law enforcement, and emergency management.
