I served as the Head Deputy of the National Focal Point for EEA Grants Portugal, as per public nomination Despacho n.º 7982/2023 from the Secretary of State for Planning. The EEA Grants financial mechanism, established by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, aims to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe while strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary states. For the period from 2014 to 2021, Portugal has been allocated a budget of €102.7 million, supporting five key programs: Blue Growth, Environment, Conciliation and Gender Equality, Culture, and Active Citizens counting 410 projects.
