About María J. Sierra

Hi! I´m María, interaction and service designer based in the north of Spain. Nice to meet you!During the last 6 years, I have helped different companies follow the path to their digital transformation. By mixing my two professional sides —Design and Psychology—, I look for user needs and motivations, which are at the core for this transformation. Apart from knowing humans better, my focus lies on finding order in chaos; I believe that order has to be translated into a pleasant design that feels invisible for the users. With all the above in mind, I have worked in projects for Telcos, banks, spanish government or healthcare. I really enjoy working with multidisciplinary and international teams. Sharing knowledge with others is amazing and well, you get to try new dishes! mmm food! :)Working remotely as a freelance, starting in January 2018. Testing the approach with the users check if its value is real.Methodologies: scenarios, personas, use cases, user flows, blueprints, features prioritisation, concept testing.Interaction design:It all finally starts coming to life! Translate concepts into design, making the most complex systems an easy going experience for the users. I aim for simplicity, order and cared micro interactions.Methodologies: information architecture, paper sketching, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing.
