I am a full-time Design Studies student, with a concentration in Graphic Design, at San Jose State University. I am also pursuing a minor in Advertising and have always been interested in print media and fashion. My current career goal is to utilize the skills I learn during my degree to become the Art Director of a popular fashion publication. Beginning the Fall 2024 semester, I am working as the editor-in-chief of Asterisk Magazine, an on-campus fashion magazine associated with the SJSU Fashion Club. In high school, I earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award a scout can receive, which required 80+ hours of community service planning work to execute a large-scale project in my community. This experience taught me valuable leadership, organizational, and time management skills that I will carry with me throughout my academic career and beyond.
