- Founded a top-rated Portland sightseeing day tours company. Maintained strong gross sales growth with an above industry net profit margin. Grew customer base to over 12k customers/year through a dedicated focus on customer satisfaction. Established a customer-centric culture resulting in 5-star rating on Trip Advisor and Yelp, while consistently being rated #1 in the Portland sightseeing tours category.- Manage all aspects of small business with a “boot strapping” mentality including: building and executing against business and financial plans, constructing sales forecasts and establishing targets, operations and process design, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations & permitting, designing and implementing marketing strategy, etc.- Lead a team of 20 employees. Oversee all HR related duties including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, motivating, discipline, performance appraisal and conflict resolution.

- Collaborated with Portland based companies in various operations management roles. Worked directly with senior management to drive operational excellence via designing, streamlining and improving processes. - Worked with companies in diverse industries and of various sizes/stages (from a national brand- Nike, to a mid-size strategic branding firm- FINE Design, to a brand new start-up- SAF). Especially enjoyed working directly with leadership and overseeing operational refinements.

- Managed top-line financial and units plan for Eastbay and Foot Action banners within Foot Locker, Inc. across categories, genders and business divisions within pre-season and in-season time frames.- Led quarterly post-season business reviews with account and internal partners at Nike.- Identified potential opportunities and/or risks in the business against inventory goals using a rolling 12 month OTB forecast and through collaboration with account and internal stakeholders.

My husband and I took a one year sabbatical to explore the United States National Parks, funded via a passive income stream from a portfolio of rental properties.

- Construction and maintenance of accurate demand plans in alignment with VAMS brand groups using JDA Manugistics, along with continuous improvement of VAMS demand planning process. Manage forecast for 16 individual minor lines, for a total yearly volume close to 500 million pounds.- Lead monthly demand reviews for each business unit.- Development and implementation of new reporting processes for greater visibility and planning to improve collaboration with marketing teams.

- Development and maintenance of detailed scheduling to support business group master plan using SAP APO, including production scheduling, roll stock management, etc.- Development and implementation of new planning processes to provide better visibility and improve efficiency at the corporate office.- Continuous improvement of inventory levels, operating costs and efficiency at the mill level.

- Implementation of newly acquired entities onto the GL module, including “as is” and “to be” documentation, gap analysis, authorization and integration testing, master data set up and all associated cut over activities. Also, responsible for day to day maintenance of the SAP GL module, month-end financial processes, perpetual security authorization assessments and ad hoc reporting as necessary.
