During my internship at Smurfit Westrock, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the comprehensive operations of a world-class industrial plant. Through a rotation across the finance, production, commercial, and general management departments, I gained a broad perspective of business management. My primary focus during the internship was the Production Department, where I was able to develop two high-impact projects: - Optimization of the productivity of converting machines: A thorough analysis of productivity and identification of the factors limiting machine performance. - Design of the new intermediate product warehouse for the industrial plant: A project to migrate from a manual storage system to an automated one, tailored to the plant's production needs. This transformation allowed for a more than 15% increase in storage capacity, reducing additional costs of handling, transportation, and external storage.

• Implemented KPI's and raw material status reports to different sections• Planned and supervised 20-30 truck and container loads daily and controlled warehouses entries in SAP• Developed my final degree project on the application of Lean Manufacturing techniques to a final product production line and warehouse, obtaining a final grade of 9.5/1

Supply Chain and Spare Parts Warehouse Department. Responsibilities:- Overseeing warehouse inputs and outputs. Monitoring in SAP and physically.- Coordinating returns and reclaiming orders from suppliers.- Supervising rotating inventories and analyzing stockouts.- Overseeing incidents of blocked invoices.- Generating reports for various sections on stocks, material status, KPIs, fixed assets, etc.
