I have a passion for serving immigrant and refugee families and students, ensuring compliance in state and federal programming, and providing best instructional practice training to educators. I love to coach teachers on how to implement all four language domains (reading, listening, writing, speaking) in the classroom and how to most efficiently scaffold instruction for multilingual learners. Integrating global education is extremely important to me and is integrated in all programming. This interest has been enhanced by participating in the University of Michigan Center for South Asian Studies K-12 Teacher Fellowship program (2022) and through the process of being presented the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms award.
